My perfect life

my perfect life. By the time I’m 21 I would have a all matte black Jeep Wrangler savana. Also a black and grey house with 3 floors and a bay window with a beautiful view of the skyline of Chicago. A walk in closet with most of my clothes name brand and a bunch of pairs of Jordan’s, Nike’s, and Adidas shoes. I would have the love of my life living with me and my beagle named Jeffery. I would be a famous professional cosmetologist working at a family owned salon/barbershop. My perfect life would be filled with adventures. How about you?

My special BearBear

My big bears name is BearBear. He is 4’5” and all blonde. He was an anniversary gift from my dad to my mom for their 23rd year together in 2013, but I kindve just took it because I would use it more than her. He is the best part of my bedroom because it just gives so much character and brings in my inner childhood. I’ve always loved teddy bears, I have so many build a bears. This bear has gone through many adventures. It has had two surgeries before, both stitches in the back. Anyways this bear will always have a special spot in my heart☺️

We Real Cool vs. The Outsiders

We Real Cool. A poem about a group of people who think they’re amazing. This poem connects to The Outsiders because it talks about a group of friends that lurk around and think they are all tough.

Some examples that they are similar is that in the poem it says “ We Real Cool.” During the whole novel of  The Outsiders both gangs the Greasers and the socs thought they were “tuff” meaning hot and cool. Another similarity that this poem and The Outsiders had in common was that in the poem it said “We Lurk late. We
Strike straight.” This is similar because many times before the greasers and the socs have gotten in trouble late at night, for example when Bob Sheldon got stabbed it was in the middle of the night.

This poem is similar to the novel The Outsiders because it stated all the things the Greasers and the socs did and acted like the statements said in the poem.

The Outsiders Novel vs. Movie

The movie adaptation changed from the novel. The movie didn’t even start with an introduction, but  just a pointless fight at a local gasoline station. How am I supposed to know who the characters are?!? And I feel that the actors did good as their characters but I felt like Johnny and Ponyboy looked too young and Johnny seemed younger than Ponyboy. The actors gave a good representation of trouble-hood teens. I also noticed that the director changed a couple things from the novel onto the movie. Personally I think the book is better because it gave more detail into what Ponyboy was thinking. Other than that the novel was amazing and the movie was alright(in my opinion).

Eventful Arachera

What's happening?!? What are they talking about? Why did she mom and dad a gift with baby clothes in it? Why are they crying? What the heck is going on?!? Those were just some of the things on in my head a few moments before I found out my sister was pregnant!

My Thursday was going great. It was June 18, 2015 my sister was craving a arachera so I helped her go to the store and prepare the food for the evening. But ofcoarse in every of our family aracheras we always have to have carne asada, banana peppers, guacamole, cebollitas, tortillas de milagro, sarchichas, hamburguesas, and more.

The food was seasoned and the grill was ready. Once were done eating my sister, Cyndi and my brother-in-law, Benji announce that they have a gift for our parents. Our parents open the gift and at first I didn't see what it was so I peaked over the Milagro tortilla chips to get a better look and even with a better view.

"Aauhhh this is so cute oh my goodness" gawking at the baby clothes wrapped in black and white tissue paper.

I still didn't know what was happening. By that time our parents had found out then my brother Jessi and ofcoarse I was the last one to find out. Then Benji announced the big surprise. Everybody was hugging each other and crying from tears of joy. My backyard was full of emotions. It felt like a novela from Univision.

That day was the same day that I never felt so many emotions in just a matter of seconds. Ever since that day our whole family has become closer, happier, crazier and bigger.

Where I See Myself In 10 Years

In 10 years I hope to be married and I wouldn't have kids until 25 or older because I would want to save money, travel, and have a social life. I'd want to have a masters degree in cosmetology since your cant have a phd. Own my own salon/barber shop maybe with my brother who is also a barber. I'd still want to live in Berwyn and raise my family in a big house. I would have two dogs A Husky and a small one.
